Three of the hourly bands come from Clutch rather than from the agency, and Clutch bands are broad. ParadoxLabs is the one agency on the page that lists its own rates, hours included and patch commitments per tier. The Covered retainer at $2,700 a month buys 15 engineering hours and 4 management hours at $180 an hour with a 3-day patch SLA and 2-hour emergency response, Reserved at $4,950 buys 30 and 8 hours at $165 with a 2-day patch SLA, and Partner from $9,000 buys 60+ and 12+ hours at $150 with a 1-day patch SLA and 1-hour emergency response.
What an audit costs
ParadoxLabs lists a site audit at $899 and describes its performance service as profiling-driven, fixed scope and fixed price. scandiweb states on its audit page that cost depends on store size and audit depth, that it is scoped and quoted on a free consultation before any work starts, and that most audits are delivered within one to two weeks with a Core Web Vitals scorecard for key pages, bottlenecks ranked by revenue impact, a fix list and a 30-minute engineer call; its Clutch minimum of $25,000 applies to an engagement rather than the audit alone. Sonassi's Enhanced support tier at £80 a month per server includes quarterly server and store performance audits. No other agency on the page publishes an audit price. At scandiweb's Clutch band, 40 to 80 senior hours of audit work is roughly $2,000 to $8,000 of effort, which is arithmetic on a published band rather than a quote.
What hosting costs
MGT-Commerce's homepage lists Single Server at 149 euros a month, Multi Server at 299 euros a month and Auto Scaling at 1,499 euros a month, with a 99.99% uptime SLA on the first two and 99.95% on Auto Scaling. Sonassi prices servers on a build-a-server page with no list price and publishes the support layer, with Standard included with a 99.95% SLA and 1-hour response time, Enhanced at £80 and Intensive at £150 a month per server. ReadyMage, which scandiweb's Scouting America case names as the host, describes its pricing as consumption-based without an amount. ParadoxLabs describes its Hyvä storefronts as running on standard Magento infrastructure and lists no hosting; elgentos's Total Care is operation and monitoring of a live platform at a fixed fee, not hosting.
What Hyvä costs in 2026
The theme is free. hyva.io announced on 6 November 2025 that the Hyvä Theme moved to OSL 3.0 and AFL 3.0 and became free from 10 November 2025, with supporting modules relicensed alongside it. The commercial products remain: hyva.io lists Hyvä Checkout at 1,000 euros one time for one Magento installation with a year of support and updates, then 250 euros a year from year two, and Hyvä UI at 250 euros per store; Hyvä Enterprise and Hyvä Commerce are commercial without a price on the pages read. The line that decides the budget is the module rebuild. MGT-Commerce's Hyvä guide puts extension compatibility modules at 50 to 300 USD each, a mid-market full migration at 15,000 to 70,000 USD over 4 to 8 weeks, and a typical first-year total at 25,000 to 85,000 USD. Those are one hosting company's ranges for a typical store, published as guidance and not as a quote, and the only migration cost ranges any agency on this page publishes.
What is never published
- A fixed price for a Hyvä migration before a module inventory, because the inventory is the price
- A price for edge work on Adobe Commerce Cloud, which depends on who holds the Fastly credentials
- A price for the upgrade that a performance engagement on 2.4.6 or older will also need
- scandiweb's hosting price, which ReadyMage describes as consumption-based
- Any rate at all from integer_net, and any hourly rate from elgentos
The practical order is the same as the lane order. Get the cold-cache response time and the hit ratio first, price the hosting or cache fix from the published plans, then price the storefront work from the module inventory, and only then compare the agencies' rates. Every figure on this page has a row in the evidence ledger with the page it was read on.
